1.2. League Registration

Drivers may sign up to be a league member by filling out the registration form on ....

By completing the registration process, drivers agree to the terms of our entire league rulebook.

1.3. Car Numbers
-
When registering, drivers can request three different number choices they would like to run.
-
To ensure a better chance at getting the number being requested, drivers should look at the Driver Roster page on the website to see which numbers are available.
-
Once accepted into the league, admins will do their best to make sure a driver gets one of the car numbers they requested, but in the event that those numbers are taken, admins may assign a driver to a different number that is open.

Drivers may request a number change at the end of a season.

1.4. Paint Schemes
-
Drivers will be provided a custom, league paint scheme that must be run during league events.
-
Each driver must have Trading Paints PRO to be able to run the custom paint scheme as it is a Custom Number paint.

Paint scheme colors options will be given to each driver in order of registration.

1.5. Points Format
-
The IROC Challenge Series will be similar to the current NASCAR points system plus bonus points.
-
The points will start at forty (40) for 1st place and go down by one (1) point per position for every position thereafter.

Bonus points will be awarded as follows:
-
Pole Winner: 1
-
Race Winner: 5
-
Lead a Lap: 1
-
Lead the Most Laps: 3
-
Fastest Lap: 1
-

Playoff Points will be accumulated throughout the Regular Season and distributed to those that make the Playoffs to start the opening round of races.

Playoff Points will be awarded as follows:
-
Win a Race: 5
-
Win a Stage: 1
-
Regular Season Champion: 10
-

Driver must complete one lap to be scored as a participant in the race to gain points.
-
The Regular Season will allow one (1) Drop Race.
-
All penalty points will be assessed by admin and shown on the race results page where the incident occurred.
-
Those drivers that do not make the Playoffs or do not advance in each round of the Playoffs will still have points battles with those drivers in their points brackets.

1.6. Inactive Drivers
-
At the conclusion of every season, inactive drivers may be removed from the league and all league related communications (such as Discord or Facebook members group) without notice.
-
Drivers who are removed for being inactive will need to complete the registration process to be added back into the league.
-
A driver will be considered inactive if they do not make any starts during the course of a season, have 5 or fewer total starts, or have no starts within the last half of the season.

Season Setup
SECTION 2
-
2.1. The Regular Season will consist of ten (10) races. These races will help determine the Playoff eligible drivers.
-
2.2 The Playoffs will consist of eight (8) races.
-
2.3. There will be a Regular Season Champion given to the driver with the most points accumulated over the ten (10) races, and there will be an overall champion at the end of the Playoffs.

2.4. The Playoffs will consist of sixteen (16) drivers to start.
-
2.5. To be eligible for the Playoffs a driver must participate in 8 of 10 Regular Season races.

2.6. A driver may lock themselves into the Playoffs by winning a race during the Regular Season. Drivers must still participate in 8 of the 10 Regular Season races.

2.7. A driver will be able to make the Playoffs by being in the Top 16 in points.

2.8. The Playoffs will consist of two rounds over the course of eight (8) races.

Round 1 - Top 16/ Four (4) Races
-
Bonus Playoff Points accumulated during Regular Season added to start Playoffs.

Round 2 - Top 8 / Four (4) Races (Championship Round)
-
All drivers will start with the same amount of points to begin the Championship Round.

2.9. If there is a tie for position that moves to the next round both drivers will move on.
Race Setup
SECTION 3
-
3.1. Races will be between 100-200 miles.
-
3.2. There will be stage racing, but no caution will be thrown.
-
Stage 1 will end at the conclusion of lap 35.
-
The leader at the conclusion of lap 35 will be the stage winner regardless of green or yellow flag conditions.
-
The Playoff point is rewarded to whomever is the leader at the conclusion of lap 35.

3.2. Fuel will be set to 60-75%.
-
3.3. There will be 3-4 extra tire sets.
-
3.4. One (1) fast repair.
-
3.5. Fixed Setups
-
3.6. Automatic full course cautions ON.

3.7. Lucky dog and waive around ON.

3.8. Race Format:

Practice - 60 min

Qualify - 2 Laps / 5 Min

Warm-up - 10 min

Race

3.9. Heat races will be used for all tracks under 1/2 mile in length and on dirt tracks.

3.10. Invert number of rows based on dice roll.
Playoff System
SECTION 4
-
4.1. The Playoffs will be Two (2) Rounds, Eight (8) races, and will include 16 drivers that met the requirements needed to make the Playoffs. The Playoff Standings will be set based off of Playoff Points earned throughout the Regular Season. A driver will earn Playoff Points from Race Wins and Stage Wins during the Regular Season. Any driver that wins a Regular Season race will be automatically given a bid into the Playoffs (*Must race in 8 of the 10 Regular Season races to get an automatic bid and/or be eligible for the Playoffs.)

4.2. Playoff Bonus Points:

Race Win: 5 point

Stage Win: 1 point

Regular Season Champion: 10 points

Race points within the Playoffs will be structured as normal. Playoff points listed above are only earned through regular season races and added to drivers total points to start the playoffs.

4.3. All Playoff Bonus Points will carry through the First Round of the Playoffs (Round of 16).
-
4.4. The Playoffs will begin with a reset of 2000 points plus any Playoff points acquired throughout the Regular Season.
-
4.5. The Championship Round will begin with a reset of 4000 points even across the board.
-
No bonus points will carry into the Championship Round. All drivers will start with 4000 points.

4.6. Advancing to the next round.
-
4.6a. If a driver wins a race within the Playoff round they will automatically advance (*Must run all races in the round to count.).
-
4.6b. Drivers can point their way into the next round.
-
4.6b.1. If there are two drivers tied for the transfer spot at the end of a round then both drivers will advance.

4.7. Championship Round

4.7a. The Championship Round will be a four (4) race round.
-
4.7b. The Championship Round will consist of 8 drivers. (Could be more if tie on final transfer spot.)

4.7b. The order in which the eligible drivers finish in the Championship Round in points is the order they will finish in the final points standings. Each driver will start with the same amount of points in the Championship Round. Points will strictly come from normal race points. No Playoff points will be awarded.
